Keep up such great developments! Maybe a YouTube channel and some videos?

Hi there, great website as usual, loving the updates on Stroley, it just gets better and better everytime I look in.
Just a couple of things, why when Bachmann, Hornby and others are making modern day trains do the companies that make model cars not realise there is a market and start producing some. I don`t want a layout running modern train vehicles with cars from the 50`s and 60`s. Or is it there are cars out there for OO/HO guage and I am just basing it on the fact that the closest gauge would be 1:76th scale, which the EFE/Corgi/CMNL buses I have on my layout . Also trying to find modern day emergency vehicles is becoming a pain in he a***, lol. Any ideas, as this is not just directed to the great man Mr Stevie "Stroley" Boley any body else with ideas I would look forward to receiving them. My email is bazzajones773@hotmail.com. Many Thanks and look forward to your replies.

Brilliant site, what a mine of useful information in easy to access photographic form. Will be back for ideas and solutions to problems.
Looking at buffer stops for end loading or goods platform and whether fencing or other boundary was used between goods and motive power depots. http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk129/mellorphoto/train%20set

Hi Stevie,
Fantastic layout, very impressed with the level of detail. I am currently doing a layout in my 20'x10' shed but have experienced a lot of track expasion due to the recent hot weather. How did you get round this problem?

Hi, I enjoyed the pics of your layout, was really good to see a more modern layout in OO gauge! I was really interested in the SPT and First Scotrail DMU's, I have never been able to find them online and would love to know where you got yours. Thanks for reading and well done on Stroley Central! :-)

Hi again steve, coming on well with the layout looking good I have two years to retire which cannot come quick enough
for me, like you I work in security for ISS in newcastle have worked for a couple of cowboy outfits as well but did not stop
long once I found out what they were like. I mostly deal with Hattons/ Durham Trains/ Model Junction/ Rails of Sheffield
Sharps/ Kernow models and most recently Porter Wynn Models in cornwall. I find them very helpful and go out of there
way to help you in whatever you require. Best Regards, Norman C.

Like the layout especially the diesel depot and office block, I have a 30ft x10ft layout but I have a slight problem with
moving house I have found my loft space is not big enough,so I am having to build a shed in the back garden when
I get round to it,at present my layout is in storage in my mother in laws garage under wraps so come summer I will
be building the shed if all goes to plan, boards are eight x three on two x one frames and two x two legs with shelving
underneath for storage. Norm C.

Great website - love your blow by blow account of the trials and tribulations of building a model railway !
I am now 60 and just starting to put together all of the stuff I have collected over the last 40 years plus some new stuff now that I can really afford it - hope it all works!

Hi,
Firstly what a cracking set of pictures showing the finer details of your work.
Could you please tell me where you bought your "brick wall of arches" shown in "Area C, photo 5." Also, the refuel point in "Area E, photo 3" and finally the small maintenance platform from "Area E, photo 8"

I'm currently working on an early 70s diesel loco shed based in the western Region. It will be DCC with sound (if my wallet can bear the pressure!).

Thanks again for the privilege of looking around your set-up.

Regards

Charlie

Hi there,
I am a keen model railway enthusiast, and i was wondering where the layout is at the moment?
Is it in or around Gloucestershire? because i would love to see the layout.
If that is ok?

Many regards

Hi, I'm only a beginner but I like the modern style of your layouts, can you recommend any good websites that sell a lot of modern locomotives, cars and other scenery?

Thanks,
Ben

Hi,

Love the website its great! A few questions though, on the page http://www.stroleycentral.co.uk/layoutphotoseraareac.htm . Could you tell me who makes the HST's in photo 2 and where could I get one? And your platform signs, which can be seen in photo 8, did you make them or buy them and if you bought them, where from?

Thanks

Hi:-) Great site - one of the most entertaining I have seen in a long time:-) The idea of a station which is anywhere is superb. You have a great sense of railway modelling as fun (which is of course what it is supposed to be!) and looking at your site has inspired me to actually build something so thanks very much. I look forward to watching developments in the future:-) Once again; Brilliant stuff :-):-);-)
