STROLEY CENTRAL / STROLEY INTERNATIONAL

My 00 - Scale "MODEL RAIL FEATURED" Modern Image Model Railway Layout ... and its successor.

STEVIE B's RAILWAY PHOTO PICS

on FLICKr

With the demise of FOTOPIC, I have permanently lost my " www.stevie-b.fotopic.net " website and with it has gone 115 collections containing some 3,500+ photos plus the valuable idents relating to those photos.

To say I'm pig sick about the loss ... is an understatement!

From the demise of Fotopic, I have started a new site containing new collections of the railway jaunts that I have been on, and have thoroughly enjoyed, and are online now for my (and hopefully your) entertainment.

Please visit my "12-inch-to-the-foot"

Railway Photo Pics.

OO / 4mm (etc.) Plus N-Gauge Exhibition Layouts:-

ALMOND BRIDGE
(Photo Update 21 - 11 - 09)

A fantastic modern image exhibition layout and one I have been waiting to see "in the flesh" for a long time.  Huge on the Scottish exhibition circuit in recent years, the visit to Warley was a major boost for this layout and its English fans.  Featuring a huge station, plus of course, as hinted at by the layout name, a bridge ... or two!  This layout also features a small Container Terminal plus a host of continously running trains through well constructed scenery.

Permission is sought for the use of my photos of their layout on my website.

STACKTON TRESSELL

(Photo Update 21 - 11 - 09)

STACKTON TRESSELL - After refurbish - 01 - 02 - 14

This is the first of Stafford Railway Circle's layouts that are firmly ensconced within my Top 20 Layout Chart.  I have been a firm follower of this since first spotting it at the Stafford show back in 2007.   This layout features a five platformed station (one through line and four terminating) plus a junction.  Each of the two diverging routes dive into cuttings before disappearing into tunnels and on to the fiddle yard.  The main scenic attraction is the abbey ruins high above the station.  The main operational attraction of this layout for me is the station throat.  James and his co-operator's "party-piece" is allowing two trains to depart side by side, then they diverge onto each of the two junction routes.  Highly entertaining!

The    OTHER    "PARTNERSHIP"    LAYOUTS ........

PORTLAND GROVE - YouTube.

PORTLAND GROVE - RM Web Article.

A layout being built by my mate Andy.  It's a "Spanglish" layout featuring both Spanish and British locos and stock, and in the process of being built in his garage in the Murcia area of the Costa Blanca.  With features on three levels, including a large station and an interesting station throat plus a self-built helix, this is definitely a favourite of the future.  Featured on YouTube, with a  at present, but watch this layout grow.

HILLSIDE MODEL RAILWAY - Web Site.

HILLSIDE MODEL RAILWAY - YouTube Channel.

An excellent DCC controlled layout featured on an interesting and informative web site.  This is a large layout that has many excellent features including four stations, one being a large terminus; a container depot; a cement quarry and various sheds, sidings and a tunnelSam's YouTube channel is also entertaining and addictive.
It is also part of a new partnership between Stroley International, Portland Grove (above), Hillside and Falconstower TMD (below) which helps Anglo / Spanish / French & Northern Irish trade and relationships.

FALCONSTOWER TMD

AND

VILLEFRANCHE
Our newest member of the partnership to date is Gerard, owner of the delightful EWS "outpost" near the French / Spanish border close to Perpignan.  This serves the partnership well with refuelling and servicing facilities at Falconstower TMD en route to / from Portland Grove and Stroley International and Hillside.
